Sophistication, elegance, nobility of spirit, knowledge, culture and art. All of these are actually reflected in Rogaška crystal ware made by the glassmaking masters from Steklarna Rogaška. A crystal product is their mirror and the glassmaking occupation is highly appreciated. Generations of famous glassmaking families lived near Steklarna Rogaška, with fathers transferring their knowledge to sons, and the sons to their successors, and so on.
Today, we have an established training process that takes care of the transfer of knowledge the completion of which leads to employment in Steklarna Rogaška.
Steklarna Rogaška greatly supports training and development of new staff (e.g. in the programmes of secondary occupational education, course glassmaker and glass designer (http://www.scrs.si/), since we appreciate tradition and are aware of the importance of old and established skills of manual crystal ware making. Our wish is to preserve this profession and activity in Slovenia.

Why is the glassmaking art so appreciated? Among other also because of the organised and fine tuned teamwork of at least five people behind the process of mouth blowing of a wine chalice (cup, stem, base). This is but a segment of all the required work, knowledge, and effort in the process of making a single 1 (one!) crystal chalice.
